Dr Busayo Emmanuel Agbana graduated as a medical doctor from College of Health Sciences University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria in the year 2003 and proceeded for a postgraduate training at University of Illorin Teaching Hospital in the year 2008 where he qualified as a Consultant Public Health Physician with National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCPH) in the year 2014, and also a member of West African College of Physician (MWACP) in the year 2013. He has a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) in the year 2015 from the same University of Illorin.
He joined the services of Kogi State University Anyigba, Kogi state Nigeria and work there as a Consultant Physician with the University Health Services. He also lectures in the department of Community Medicine College of Health Sciences in the same University where he also teach medical students epidemiology and medical biostatistics, reproductive health and environmental health. He reviews articles for the National Postgraduate Medical Journals.
Dr Agbana has a passion for and has carried out several researches in occupational medicine with infectious diseases as specialty. In addition to my primary duties, He is a volunteer and participates in the treatment of HIV/AIDS patients as the ART clinician with Kogi State University Teaching Hospital Anyigba, Kogi State Nigeria: where over 500 patients receive treatments weekly. His voluntary service also extends to the Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis Centre of the same Teaching Hospital being a Consultant Public Health Physician.
